Note: This book is under development.
Agents, editors and publishers always want to know about a book’s premise, its intended audience, its message. In their world you don’t tell a story just to be telling it. The author has to accomplish something. Perhaps it’s to tell a story. Maybe it’s to uncover a hidden truth, or it could be a call to action—something that motivates a reader to change his or her life.
This book tells three stories, all closely intertwined. First, it’s a story about how general aviation—small planes—helped build an industry. Second, it’s about the growth of that industry—pharmacy computers. And third, it documents many facets of the growth of small business computers and the evolution to the personal computer.
The purpose behind the first message is to promote and educate about general aviation. The purpose behind the second and third messages is to record history and perhaps educate some about computers.
